Dangerous Buildings & Drone Zones Layers & Development Plan Search
New Features- New Drone Flight Zones layers: added Prohibited and Restricted drone zone overlays
- Dangerous Buildings layers added for Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, and Ammochostos (combined polygon + point data per EOA)
- Automatic Dangerous Building detection: the parcel info tool now flags parcels intersecting a registered dangerous building, shown as a prominent warning at the top of the parcel details
- Development Plan search: the parcel info tool can now search and link directly to the Town Planning's official Development Plan documents for the parcel's community, via an expandable panel with direct download links
Improvements- KML export from the parcel info tool now includes full parcel information (all fields, planning zones, registrations) as individual data fields, plus the dangerous building flag when applicable

- Dedicated Map Viewer Address: The interactive cadastral map viewer now has its own address at cadastral.maps.cy
Improvements- Shared Preferences: Language and cookie preferences set on the main site are automatically carried over to the map viewer — no need to set them twice
- Site Navigation: A clean navigation bar and footer make it easy to move between the home page, blog, layers library, and the map viewer

New Features- Enhanced Info Tool: Expanded feature identification capabilities with improved query support across multiple active layers
- Multi-Layer Info Results: Info tool now displays results grouped by layer, making it easier to identify overlapping features from different data sources
Improvements- Active Layers Visibility Indicators: Layers panel now clearly highlights which layers are currently visible at the current map zoom level, with dimmed styling applied to out-of-range layers
- Layer Visibility State Persistence: Active layer visibility toggles are preserved when switching between map panels or collapsing the sidebar

Improvements- Filterable Dropdown Lists: Cadastral and Registration Number search dropdowns now open as a scrollable, filterable panel
- Inline Parcel Not Found Message: When a cadastral search returns no results, the feedback is now shown as an inline warning inside the search panel instead of a native browser dialog
- Greek Translation: Added Greek translation for the Please zoom to a smaller area warning in extent-based search

Draw Tool & Import Data Tool Enhancements
New Features- Freehand Drawing: Draw Points, Polylines, Polygons, and Circles directly on the map from the dedicated Draw sidebar
- Select & Edit: Click any drawn shape to select it, then move, resize, or rotate it using the interactive bounding-box handles
- Edit Multi: Select all drawn shapes simultaneously for collective move and rotate operations
- Copy Shape: Duplicate a selected shape with an automatic positional offset so the copy is immediately visible
- Split Geometry: Draw a cut line across a polygon or polyline to split it into two separate features
- Reshape: Redraw part of a polygon boundary to modify its outline without starting over
- Union: Merge two overlapping or adjacent geometries into a single feature
- Cut Out (Hole): Draw a polygon inside another polygon to punch a hole through it
- Delete Vertex: Click any individual vertex on a shape to remove it
- Undo / Redo: Full multi-step undo and redo stack for all drawing and editing actions (also via Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y)
- Delete Shape / Delete All: Remove a selected shape or clear all drawn features at once
- Snapping: Snap to vertices and edges of your own drawn features, with an optional snap-to-parcels layer toggle
- Feature List: All drawn features are listed in the sidebar with per-feature visibility toggle, zoom-to, and delete controls
- Show / Hide All Features: Global visibility toggle for all drawn features at once
- Attribute Table: Open a dedicated attribute table for drawn features, add/rename/delete columns, and edit cell values inline
- JSON Editor: View and edit the raw GeoJSON or ESRI JSON representation of all drawn features, with live map sync on Apply
- Download: Export drawn features as GeoJSON, ESRI JSON, CSV, KML, or Shapefile (.zip)
- Mobile Support: Draw sidebar is fully responsive, slides in from the left, supports the minimize button on small screens
Improvements- Excel (.xlsx / .xls) Support: Import spreadsheet files directly; the tool reads all columns and converts rows to features
- Files Without Geometry: CSV and Excel files that contain no spatial column are now accepted; rows are loaded as a non-spatial attribute table
- Assign Geometry from Attribute Table: For layers with no geometry, open the attribute table, select rows, choose a draw type, and draw the geometry on the map to assign it to the selected rows
- Row-Click Selects for Geometry Assignment: Clicking a table row visually highlights it and registers it as selected without needing to tick the checkbox
- Define Unrecognised Geometry Columns: When the tool cannot detect X/Y or WKT geometry columns, a dialog prompts you to identify the relevant columns and coordinate reference system
- Geometry Column Dialog: Supports X/Y column pair selection for point data and WKT column selection for any geometry type, with CRS picker
- Pop-out Attribute Table New Tab: Attribute tables can be opened in a separate browser tab; row selection in the new tab now correctly enables the geometry assignment toolbar

Parcel Info Expansion, Search UI Refinements & New Import Widget
New Features- Import from URL or File: Add external layers from ArcGIS REST, ArcGIS Feature Services, ArcGIS WMS, GeoServer WMS, or local files
- Supported Formats: GeoJSON, KML, GPX, CSV, GeoPackage (.gpkg), Shapefile (.zip), and georeferenced image packages (.zip)
- Layer Management Tools: Manage imported layers with visibility controls, zoom to layer, rename, reorder, remove, and opacity adjustment
- Styling & Data Controls: Customize symbology and labels, and inspect imported data through the built-in attribute table
Improvements- Latitude & Longitude in Parcel Identify: Parcel results in the identify tool now include geographic coordinates for faster location reference
